We accepted an invitation
to visit Lake Tahoe, Nevada.
It was a long, lonely
desolate and beautiful, at best,
drive to the lake.
Once there, fresh air,
snow covered mountains,
the intense blue lake,
it made it all worth it!
We transported ourselves
into a western town
at Virginia City.
Cruised the lake on a Padlewheel.
Drove around in different directions,
north, west, east...
On our drive back home
we will take the long route thru
Death Valley, California...
...a short stop at the Bellagio Hotel
in Las Vegas, Nevada.
