Hawaii 2000

This is our first trip to Hawaii.
Also, my first trip with a digital camara.
Let's try it out...

We are invited to join
Pam & Jim Farmer, Micheal's sister
in Kauai, Hawaii.

We will be introduced to turtles
at the Spouting Horn...

We will visit the
farmer's market...see canyons...

...white and black sandy beaches.

Boarding a catamaran,
we will see spectacular cliffs
at the Na Pali Coast.

Admire and take a long look at the
Waimea Canyon.

We see waterfalls, partcipate on a Luau,
and visit the Kilauea Lighthouse.

This all on the first week...
we are now heading for a second week
at the big island of
Kona, Hawaii.

We also see beutiful beaches,
not as sandy more rocky...

then...we arrive at the
Volcano National Park!
Breathtaking!

Of course, we will see a ton
of more beaches and waterfalls.

On our flight home we have a
stop over in Oahu, Honolulu.

We visit the Pearl Harbour exhibition,
get sand between our toes
in Waikiki beach and
get to see the iconic
Diamond Head at a distance.
