In 2002 we had a stop in
Mazatlan, Mexico
during a cruise in this area.
We would come back
to enjoy a full week of fun,
food and shopping.
We also would
visit various area resorts
where they would supply us with
great fun, food and shopping
at no cost to us.
We enjoyed sunset dinners,
food and fish markets, snorkel
and a day relaxing by the pool/beach.
But really...the highlight
of this trip, was a day tour we took
to learn all about turtles.
We follow the journey of a turtle
from the start, when they lay their eggs,
to release the young turtles into the wild.
An awesome experience!!!
We also took local transportation
and visited the downtown area.
